CHARLESTON – Game tickets, a pregame tailgate package and fan buses are available for Eastern Illinois’ football playoff game at Southern Illinois.
The Panthers are to play a 1 p.m. Saturday game at Carbondale in the first round of the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
Tickets are $20 for a reserved seat in the EIU section with student tickets in the EIU student section costing $6 per student.
EIU is offering pre-game tailgate package for $20 per person. Tickets for that event can be purchased through the ticket office or on the day of the game. A ticket and tailgate package is $40 total.
Also available are a booster fan bus and student bus to attend the game. Buses are to depart from the O’Brien Field parking lot at 8 a.m. on Saturday morning and return following the game. Total cost for EIU boosters on the bus is $60 which includes game ticket, pregame tailgate and roundtrip bus fare.
The student bus is $20 per student which includes game ticket and roundtrip bus fare. Panther Nation, the EIU student support group, is offsetting some of the student bus cost.
All three offerings can be purchased through the EIU ticket office. Hours of operation are noon-4 p.m. Monday; 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Tuesday; 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to noon Friday.
