TUESDAY'S HIGH SCHOOL RESULTS



Cross Country

Charleston's Aaron Smith won the Apollo Conference cross country meet with a time of 14 minutes, 32 seconds. The Trojans finished fourth as a team.

Volleyball

Charleston def. Salem 25-20, 25-22

Emily Rose had eight kills and six digs for Charleston.

Dieterich def. Neoga 25-12, 25-20

Jessica Fritcher had 15 digs for Neoga in the National Trail Conference loss

Cumberland def. Casey-Westfield 25-16, 25-8

Cumberland earns 20th win and 12th straight. Sadie Sparks had a team-high 7 kills

Martinsville def. Okaw Valley 25-15, 25-16

Argenta-Oreana def. Sullivan 20-25, 25-17, 25-22

Sullivan’s Rachel Pollock had six kills and Tabitha Davis nine digs

 

Soccer

Charleston 1, Effingham 0

Charleston won the Apollo Conference in its inagural year wth a goal with 20 mintues left by Joey Martinez.
