LETTER: Look at a list of what Palin doesn't have

LEROY HANKINS, Mattoon

What Sarah Palin doesn’t have:

Sarah does not have friendly relations with Wm. Ayers and his bomber wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Both would be in prison were it not for a technical courtroom error.

She does not have a pandering, race baiting pastor of her church. She does not belong to a church that gave a life-time achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, leader of an Islamic organization in the U.S.

She does not have a record of attending a church for 20 years where the pastor hated the U.S.

She did not have friendly relations with a shady real estate agent who gave friends “sweetheart” deals in obtaining housing. She did not join a church in order to have a political base to help her win an election.

Sarah has made executive-level decisions for years before her enemies even knew who she was.

She had her church burned by her political enemies. She has had cadres of moral invalids harass her and her family trying to find some fault.

She has nitpicking women who find fault with every demeanor or manner of dress. She has had her children and family attacked by the crudest, low level goons.

No one kicks a dead dog, but they try to destroy one they fear.

Righteousness is a horrid threat to the left-leaning loons; the very ones that elected Obama.

She fought corruption in Alaska when her own party was to blame.

Who would make the better president, Sarah or Barack Hussein?

LEROY HANKINS

Mattoon

" Sarah Palin also does not have a Harvard law degree. Nor a history of helping the less fortunate. Nor, it appears, a modicum of common sense. But she does have a big, angry mouth, which she uses to tell blatant lies.

Obama no longer attends the church you mention. He distanced himself from the church when his pastor used the extra attention to trumpet his own issues. Obama also doesn't appear to be a very religious person. My guess is that he might not even subscribe to organized religion. But he doesn't have a choice. After all, the right would persecute anyone who doesn't believe in THEIR view of God and the afterlife. Of course, they don't actually believe that nonsense. Otherwise, why would they go around lying about these fictional "death panels" and claiming Obama is racist to scare people into a fervor just like they did when the told everyone Iraq was going to bomb us if we didn't invade the country?

You do remember the last of those items, right? CIA head George Tenet was asked by Bush to twist reality. Remember that? Remember when Bush rewarded him with a Medal of Freedom? Now that, my friend, is a serious crime. At last check, more than 4,000 soldiers gave their lives to fight in a war based on lies.

If anyone deserves to be in the big house, it's probably George W. Bush and his handlers. And it's Bush to whom Palin has aligned herself. Well, Bush and Ted Stevens. Perhaps you've heard of the man. Palin worked for Stevens as recently as 2003. Stevens, you might recall, is a convicted felon.

Palin also campaigned for Sen. Saxby Chambliss, the Georgia senator who once accused a man who lost three limbs in the Vietnam War of supporting terrorists. Chambliss also suggested in November 2001 that Georgia's sheriffs could round up and arrest all of the muslim people who came into the state. Oh, that's not all. Chambliss also referred to black voters in Georgia as "the other folks" during his 2008 campaign and made it clear that his base was white people. It should come as no surprise that a Google search for the keywords "Chambliss is scum" generates 11,000 hits.

And the list goes on. Let us not forget Ken Lay, who was a personal friend fo George W. Bush. Lay, of course, was convicted of 10 counts of felony fraud for orchestrating the Enron scandal that led to the company's collapse and the loss of millions of dollars in retirement money for people who worked for the company. Bush even rode on Lay's company jet a number of times and called upon the advice of a guy he called "Kenny Boy" to help him make executive appointments.

As for Obama's relationship with Ayers, both men have characterized it as a casual one. They do not go out in the helicopter together to shoot wolves. They do not fly in each other's corporate jets. They just happened to work at the same university and live in the same neighborhood for some time. That required them to rub shoulders now and then. If you believe there's more to their relationship, I invite you to provide proof. Surely, you understand the concept of proof. For example, it is what the court used to convict Stevens, Republican Congressman Tom DeLay and Republican Congressman Duke Cunningham of felony crimes. Without it, you are nothing more than a crotchety windbag who doesn't understand politics or the world.

As for the question of whether Sarah Palin or Obama would make the best president, we'll never know. There is absolutely no chance that Palin will be elected. Anyone who believes she has a chance is a silly fool. "

What Sarah Palin doesnt have:

Sarah does not have friendly relations with Wm. Ayers and his bomber wife, Bernardine Dohrn. Both would be in prison were it not for a technical courtroom error.

-Leroy probably doesn't realize that Ayers has turned his life around and has become an award winning educator.

She does not have a pandering, race baiting pastor of her church. She does not belong to a church that gave a life-time achievement award to Louis Farrakhan, leader of an Islamic organization in the U.S.

-No, she has one who performs devil cleansing ceremonies for his flock, and not surprisingly Leroy Hankins manages to insult one of the world's leading religion.

She does not have a record of attending a church for 20 years where the pastor hated the U.S.

-No, she dropped her extremely fundamentalist church in favor of one not so controversial when she decided to give politics a go.

She did not have friendly relations with a shady real estate agent who gave friends sweetheart deals in obtaining housing. She did not join a church in order to have a political base to help her win an election.

-The jury is still out on her mansion that has a cloud of suspicion surrounding it, stay turned for that one, commonly called house-gate in Alaska.

Sarah has made executive-level decisions for years before her enemies even knew who she was.

-Yes, she sure has, like ramrodding a multi-million dollar sports complex through in that little Arcola sized town, that has left that place in serious debt. (inherited a surplus and left a gigantic debt-sound familiar)

She had her church burned by her political enemies. She has had cadres of moral invalids harass her and her family trying to find some fault.

-Funny I never read where where her political enemies burned her church down, pure speculation on the part of Leroy, I suspect. Perhaps he will do a followup letter explaining that one. lol!

She has nitpicking women who find fault with every demeanor or manner of dress. She has had her children and family attacked by the crudest, low level goons.

-Sarah chose to drag her dysfunctional brood into the fray.

No one kicks a dead dog, but they try to destroy one they fear.

-Actually no one fears her, most Dems are hoping and praying she gets the GOP nod.

Righteousness is a horrid threat to the left-leaning loons; the very ones that elected Obama.

-I hardly think her self serving and scheming agenda should be called righteousness.

-With that one Leroy has managed to insult over half the voters.

She fought corruption in Alaska when her own party was to blame.

-Yes she was for the bridge to nowhere before she was against it.

Who would make the better president, Sarah or Barack Hussein?

- the answer: The honorable Barack Obama

Just another letter from another sorehead loser. "

" Elbert - respect for the truth? Odd. The President was so unnerved by her comment that he had to address it the other day; journalists initially scoffed at it, and then said, "hm, she has a point." And finally, the Senate removed provisions from their bills that could be (mis)interpreted as a death panel. Pretty effective use of rhetoric... could we even say "clinton-esque."

Clearly, Palin won that debate.

And Palin, unlike Obama, isn't shafting her paid position to fund her campaign. It was a disgrace for Illinois to have Senator Obama missing in action for so long. Quitting made the most sense for her state. Kind of like Nixon did... before coming back years later to win the White House.

That being said, the last line of the letter asks who would make the better President. So far, Obama has made a miserable President, but that's not to say he won't learn after the congressional elections next year, like Pres Clinton did. And I hope Palin is not the other choice in 3 years. I'd hope the opposition party puts up a formidable executive, so we could have a serious race, bereft of constant liberal charges of racism or sexism. "

" ONE THING Sarah Palin DOES HAVE ON HER RECORD -- and she's so stupid and such a hypocrite she's not embarrassed about it -- is PRAISE for the living wills and "advanced directives" such as she now attacks as "death panels".

In 2008, before she was a candidate, she declared "Health Care Decisions Day" to be observed on April 16, 2008.

She urged everyone to prepare living wills, end-of-life advanced directives, etc. On comments to Bailey Young's letter I posted the preamble to the Official Declaration she issued from her office as Governor of Alaska. You
can read more there. But I MUST leave here her concluding paragraph of the preamble:
"WHEREAS, the Foundation for End of Life Care in Juneau, Alaska, and other organizations throughout the United States have endorsed this event and are committed to educating the public about the importance of discussing healthcare choices and executing advance directives........."

WOW that sounds almost exactly like the proposal she now RANTS ABOUT. It
will GAG you; but if you want to read more of her Declaration of "Health Care Decisions Day", for a more complete list of things she urges people to do re end-of-life planning, go to near the bottom of comments on Bailey's letter.
Sarah's mind, or what purports to be such, just goes with the flow, like a feather in a whirlpool.....DUMMMMMMM

"the government ALREADY **REQUIRES** hospitals and nursing homes to help patients with those legal documents (end-of-life directives), if they want support, under a 1992 law PASSED UNDER **REPUBLICAN** PRESIDENT GEORGE H. W. BUSH."

"REPUBLICAN Senator Johnny Isaacson was among the most enthusiastic backers of end-of-life counseling in government health care programs like Medicare." In fact he and OTHER REPUBLICAN Senators such as Lugar and Collins "have co-sponsored legislation in recent years promoting the counseling, including in initial Medicare visits and through a proposed government-run insurance program for long-term care. In the House, REPUBLICAN Reps Charles Boustany (LA), Geoff Davis (KY), and Patrick Tiberi (OH) co-sponsored legislation from Rep Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) that would authorize Medicare to pay for the counseling. THAT measure served as a model for the current House language."

WOW, WOW (i.e. Double WOW). Why didn't Palin name all these sinning REPUBLICANS who favored bills authorizing payment for her "death panels".

Could she have been IGNORANT of these bills? Maybe. Maybe just
Palin-Ignorant as usual.

And I wonder how these Senators and Representatives feel about being crucified by a woman who was recently their vice presidential candidate.

Really

However, she did have enough brains to graduate college, she did have enough beauty and poise to win a beauty contest, she did have enough brains to be elected to The Wasilla City Council, she did have enough brains to be elected mayor of Wasilla, she did have enough brains to be elected Governor of Alaska, she did have enough brains to be commander in cheif of the Alaska National Guard, which, by the way, is our 1st line of defense should the Russions attack, she did work on commercial fishing boats, she loves to hunt. And she did have 5 children while doing all of this, including a severely hadicapped child.

What more could you ask for in a President or a wife or mother? So here daughter got pregnant! Like she's the 1st one ever. She didn't abort it or dump it in a trash can. When scr__ing stops feeling good, teenagers won't do it anymore.

What has our great leader done? Let's see, he sent Bill Clinton to trade who knows what to North Korea for 2 idiots who decided to camp there, He is in the middle of passing a health care plan that know one wants and will cost 1.5 Trillion Dollars, He has to Israel to stop building settlements, Netanyahu promptly told him to go f__k himself. He wants to deal with Iran, North Korea and Venezuela and Cuba.
However, he hasn't said anything about Hama lobbing bombs at Israel. I relize Obama inherited a major mess from Bush, but what has he done to make any of it any better?

Nope, my vote will go to Palin for President, it's about time we have one with Beauty, Honesty, Grace, Poise and Brains. "

* Support for the Presidents health care reform fell to its lowest level yet- just 42% now support the plan working its way through Congress

* 51% say they fear the governments role in health care more than they fear private insurance companies

* Only 32% favor single-payer health care while 57% ARE OPPOSED.

* 60 % say the US is on the Wrong Track

* 62% of unaffiliated voters oppose the health care plan, and 51% are strongly opposed. (Pst- these are the guys who have really decided the last three Presidential elections)

But alas, Sarah Palin displayed more cajones in one short week, than any other lone individual in the entire political arena during the whole of this debate. You seem to be arguing that an untruth, especially one such as the use of the term death panels is the way to win a debate. And, unfortunately, she has apparently won the debate so people will not have the insurance-supported opportunity to make informed decisions about what type of care they want.
I try to use facts, that is why I have taken the time to read the bill. Admittedly, it is a very difficult bill to try to understand.

Perhaps Ms. Palin didnt understand what the purpose of the republicans who put the item in the bill were trying to do. If so, she spoke out of ignorance which is unfortunate as many pay attention to what she says. "

THE ATLANTIC (Aug 16 2009) An administration official said tonight that Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius "misspoke" when she told CNN this morning that a government run health insurance option "is not an essential part" of reform. This official asked not to be identified in exchange for providing clarity about the intentions of the President. The official said that the White House did not intend to change its messaging and that Sebelius simply meant to echo the president, who has acknowledged that the public option is a tough sell in the Senate and is, at the same time, a must-pass for House Democrats, and is not, in the president's view, the most important element of the reform package.

As far as the left "fearing" her, I don't think it's the left. The more moderate Republicans must be shaking in their boots. When they see influential Republicans like Gingrich and Grassley carrying water for her, they must be concerned. As low as Obama's poll numbers have been by some polls, they're still ahead of the sinking numbers for Palin. No, most on the left do not fear her, and in fact are hoping she keeps speaking. "

Yes, I really hated those days. Both my mother and I were sinking everything we had into CDs which, as I recall were paying about ... was it 12%!!!!!
-----------
I am glad you and your mother we blessed and had money to sink into CDs, but I hope you werent buying cars or houses or were part of the large increase in the unemployed.

I was a purchasing agent in a manufacturing firm during his time and it sure played heck with our long term financing and on the pricing of materials.

We like everybody else had to make the appropriate increase in our selling prices to offset our increased costs.

But if youre happy you made somewhere around a net 1.3% who am I to quibble.

How did I get that 1.3% you might ask:

During the Carter years, the GOVERNMENT REPORTED average inflation rates per year were 7.6%, 11.3%, 13.5% and 10.3%, respectively.

Depending on when you purchased your CDs and the length of term you would have made real spendable money 3 out of four years based upon inflation.

Since I dont feel like computing the compounding, time value of money, dollar cost averaging etc., lets just use the four year average which was 10.7% so you made a simple average net of somewhere around 1.3% on your money.

Whoopee!!!!

Of course if you were on the other side and buying a house, car or just about anything that required financing you probably werent too happy.

Prime Rate during Mr. Carters Term (Jan. 20, 1977, to Jan. 20, 1981):

(1977) Start- 6.25% End- 7.25%
(1978) Start- 8.0% End- 11.75%
(1979) Start- 11.75% End- 15.25%
(1980) Start- 15.25% End- 18.75%
(1981) Jan- 21.50%

To those who didnt live through it Cognis 12% gross sounds good.

Bet it doesnt sound so good when you measure it against inflation and the cost of money does it? "

Hum and I thought we had a discussion on the proper protocol for a discussion/dialog back in February.

Sigh.

In answer your question, it is because I try to be polite and when possible try to answer questions or posts directed at or to me.

Since the poster (Cognitus wrote on Aug 17, 2009 10:35 PM:) directed his post to my post, as my part of the discussion/dialog I answered him with my opinion to his information and of course with linked facts supporting my opinion.

And no they arent Carter bashing, they are simply facts that are properly sourced and support the opinion that I stated.

I understand that youre probably upset because it did take some space away from the Palin bashing and I know how that relives your stress (from all the bad news you have had to suffer through in the last few weeks (months?)).

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: Now, look, I didnt part of the reason we went into Iraq was the main reason we went into Iraq at the time was we thought he had weapons of mass destruction. It turns out he didn't, but he had the capacity to make weapons of mass destruction.
---
PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: Nothing, except for its part of and nobody has ever suggested in this administration that Saddam Hussein ordered the attack. Iraq was a Iraq the lesson of September the 11th is, take threats before they fully materialize, Ken. Nobody has ever suggested that the attacks of September the 11th were ordered by Iraq."

First of notice that their is no citation so know one knows what news media the story came from. I did however, find the transcript of the news conference. You might want to re-read the entire coverage. He did not say that their never was WMD. He said none were found, of course we will ignore the reports I have shown you where they were believed to have been moved to Serbia, or how even Clinton believed Iraq to have WMD. In fact he was even the first to mention nukes:

"Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors." - December 16, 1998, White House press release, National Review Online.
Notice how he attacked "chemical, and biological weapons programs" areas. I didn't think you could attack what was not there. Clinton went on to say, "Saddam Hussein must not be allowed to threaten his neighbors or the world with nuclear arms, poison gas, or biological weapons."

Wait, "nuclear arms, poison gas, or biological weapons." Aren't those WMD? Guess not when it's Clinton talking.

Bush said Hussein did not order the attacks, however we do know that he was in cahoots with those who did, and even had training camps. Even CNN said the camps were there. As for my lies I have shown you before the releases that found WMD's. Here is another:

"Weapons of mass destruction were quietly found in Iraq earlier this month." - June 16, 2003, Democrat Talk Radio
You didn't want to confront this when I showed you the evidence before, but now that it's archived I guess it's time for your lies. "

Perhaps that is because I and my wife have already made provisions for advanced directives and we periodically review them to make sure that they provide for the decisions that we want made. I encourage everyone to have a will and to not only provide for advanced directives which will carry out their wishes but also tell those who are involved what their wishes are so that their loved ones do not have to make decisions without information. I realize, however, that many are reluctant to make these decisions. Since I try to be self-relient, I try to choose the path that I want to travel rather than having someone else choose it for me. CINCINNATI (Reuters) - After Republican John McCain and Democrat Barack Obama made him into the most famous plumber in America, it turns out Joe Wurzelbacher isn't a licensed plumber after all. Oh, and his real name is Sam.

The morning after he emerged as the unexpected star of Wednesday evening's U.S. presidential debate, Samuel "Joe" Wurzelbacher of Holland, Ohio, found himself at the center of a media frenzy, with reporters camped out on his front lawn and his phone ringing off the hook.

But it wasn't long before the Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters and Service Mechanics revealed that Wurzelbacher was not a licensed member of their trade.

"That means that he has not completed the training program necessary for him to sit for a license test," said Tony Herrera, market recovery specialist for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 50 in Toledo, Ohio.

"It's a shame that this guy has ended up in this situation because it seems like he's misrepresented himself -- and for that matter the plumbing and pipe fitting industry."

In October 2008, Wurzelbacher told The New York Times he was one of two employees of a small plumbing firm, Newell Plumbing and Heating Co. of Toledo, the company he described to Obama as making $250,000 to $280,000 per year. Wurzelbacher said that the idea of buying the company was discussed during his job interview six years prior. According to MSNBC and Fox News, court records show that Wurzelbacher made $40,000 in 2006. Dun & Bradstreet's report estimated that A. W. Newell Corporation, the full corporate name, had $510,000 in annual sales and 8 employees.

As part of the background on McCain's use of "Joe the Plumber", several media outlets researched his professional plumbing credentials. One Toledo Blade article stated, "Mr. Wurzelbacher said he works under Al Newells license, but according to Ohio building regulations, he must maintain his own license to do plumbing work. He is also not registered to operate as a plumber in Ohio, which means hes not a plumber." "Mr. Joseph (business manager of the local union) said Mr. Wurzelbacher could only legally work in the townships, but not in any municipality in Lucas County or elsewhere in the country."

A detailed article in Newsweek pointed out that, "Reporters working on profiles soon discovered that Wurzelbacher didnt actually have a state or local license to work as a plumber in the Toledo area, and despite Wurzelbachers insistence that he didnt need one, local officials and building inspectors in Toledo insisted he did. On Friday, those officials said a letter was being mailed to Wurzelbachers employer warning him to get into compliance with city codes or face the loss of the companys license." Wurzelbacher's employer at the time, A. W. Newell, is licensed by the State of Ohio and the City of Toledo.

Perhaps Joe made parts runs for the real plumbers, jr. lol! "

When you quote them and they say they are a news agency. It's called guilt by association. Not to mention you did in your above statement when you say, "they actual do post some hard news items". I love how if Fox does a story on someone on the left they are bias. ABC edits an interview and that is fine. CBS runs a story about the President, without even checking to see if is true, that later turns out to be false, and that is okay. I guess the media can only lean one way.

That's fine. It is his talk radio show. The Left had radio shows, though they fail miserably. How about Rachel Maddow, who has a show on MSNBC. I guess it only matter who they are speaking for doesn't it. "

One of the greatest services that doctors can provide for their patients is a frank discussion about end-of-life care issues. A patient's right to dignity and self-determination is dependent on the knowledge that their wishes will be carried out once they are no longer capable of voicing them. Unfortunately, in today's busy medical practices, these important topics often go unaddressed, and as a result many terminally ill patients end up needlessly subjected to uncomfortable, undignified and unproductive tests and treatments.

In this light, it is disappointing to hear former vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and company vilify end-of-life-care discussions as "death panels." This politically motivated smear campaign will only discourage patients from addressing these important issues with their doctors, which in turn will ultimately and unfairly shift the burden of making these tough decisions onto patients' families and care providers when the end inevitably comes. What a shame this is.

Come 2012, I hope America remembers Palin's great disservice.

Palin's double dose of bad news

By Yael T. Abouhalkah, Kansas City Star Editorial Page columnist

GOP right-wing darling Sarah Palin gets a double-dose of bad news in the Marist poll released Tuesday.

-- She would lose to President Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential race.

If it were held today, 56 percent of Americans would support Obama and 33 percent would back Palin, according to the full poll results. Obama outpolls Palin with Democrats and independents.

-- And Palin would finish second in the GOP's 2012 presidential preference poll, albeit just barely.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney got 21 percent of the GOP preference vote, Palin 20 percent and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee 19 percent.

The Marist poll also says 61 percent of all respondents (including a majority of Republicans) think Palin made a mistake stepping down in mid-term from the governor's office this summer.

Summed up: Palin is in a familiar position, facing an uphill fight to remain relevant in American politics.

But people are still talking about her views like they matter a lot, so that's the good news in the Marist survey. "

Harry Potter wrote on Aug 20, 2009 10:03 AM:

" Op ed piece from the dreaded Huffington post-

Something strange has happened in America in the nine months since Barack Obama was elected. It has best been summarized by the comedian Bill Maher: "The Democrats have moved to the right, and the Republicans have moved to a mental hospital."

The election of Obama -- a center-left black man -- as a successor to George W. Bush has scrambled the core American right's view of their country. In their gut, they saw the US as a white-skinned, right-wing nation forever shaped like Sarah Palin. When this image was repudiated by a majority of Americans in a massive landslide, it simply didn't compute. How could this have happened? How could the cry of "Drill, baby, drill" have been beaten by a supposedly big government black guy? So a streak that has always been there in the American right's world-view -- to deny reality, and argue against a demonic phantasm of their own creation -- has swollen. Now it is all they can see. "

Birkenfeld, 44, played a key role in showing prosecutors and U.S. Senate investigators how Zurich-based UBS helped Americans hide as much as $20 billion in assets, the government said.

Id like to express my regret for my actions, Birkenfeld, who pleaded guilty last year, told U.S. District Judge William Zloch today in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The sentence was 10 months longer than prosecutors requested in court papers citing his substantial assistance in the investigation of UBS. Birkenfeld argued in a filing that he deserved probation, not prison, in exchange for his cooperation.

The judge didnt explain his reasons for the sentence. The maximum punishment for the crime is five years.

UBS agreed on Aug. 19 to hand over account information on 4,450 accounts to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service. The bank on Feb. 18 said it would pay $780 million to avoid prosecution.

at least it's a start.... "

This must be what jr was referring to when he said Palin defeated Biden in the VP debates. I guess going to a debate and not answering questions spells victory to the Palin fans. lol! "

Rohn, you have an uncanny grasp on the pulse of Coles County. Iraq War happened because "Big Bush" was sleeping with the Saudi's (who deserved retalliation) and Saddam boldly referred to "W" as Junior Bush. Can't imagine who Sarah would attack!

Father Bob, at one point the US had as many mercenary "contractors" in the conflict as government soldiers - better paid with little oversight.

There it is Jon, there's the proof for your idea that the earth is only 6000 years old. Sarah said it so it must be true

Anti-science Palin is Vanatta's kind of gal it seems.

I guess Jon didn't see the Kenyan birth certificate that the unhinged mother of the birthers came up with either. How come the birthers aren't pushing that one. Oh yeah, like everything else they've come up with, it was debunked as a fake. "

A number of homosexuals from Obama's former church have died mysteriously.

Obama has dozens of social security numbers, and his passport is inaccurate.

Taitz claims that a person who was cooperating with the FBI in connection with Obama's passport died mysteriously, "shot in the head".

A Kenyan birth certificate with the name "Barack Obama" is authentic.

Obama's first act as president was to donate money to Hamas, which she claims will be used to build Qassam rockets.

Obama or someone connected to him has made threats to Taitz's life, including vandalizing her car.

Obama is having FEMA build internment camps for "Anti-Obama dissidents"

I'm sure Orly is open to donations, Jon. lol! "

The Republicans are between a rock and and a hard place, after Bush's Iraq war they would have a hard time criticizing Obama for his efforts in Afghanistan. But I'm sure they would like to. "

" CrowWoman it has been since before the election that many of us pointed out that Obama has never established his citizenship. That should have been investigated and resovlved then but it has not been. That should have been put to rest and an end put to all this problem. All he had to do was release his real birth certificate but he did not and he still is defying the Constitution and refusing to and all the sheeple are still closing their eyes and most of the media lapdogs are still covering for him. This is a problem that is not ever going to go away and is going to cloud his presidency forever. What is he hiding that is so damaging that he is willing to spend over a million dollars to his law firms to keep hidden?
He will never be able to survive another presidential election without clearing up this issue because a candidate running against him will eat him alive over this.
This is a man who ran on a platform of transparency! "

" The Republicans drove the car off the cliff and then turned the wheel over to Obama and said, "It's your problem now. Get us out of this, smarty."
We're lucky that Obama is an intelligent, steady man, because he's going to have a hellish series of crises to try to steer us through, with the Republican hyenas tearing at his legs the whole time.
Given the unholy mess we are in, Obama probably has a slim chance of success, and the Republicans will seize on any failures their policies caused, blame them on Obama and use that as a route back to power. Then they'll take up where they left off, with legalized torture, massive police-state spying on Americans, green-lighting financial fraud, unjustified invasions based on lies, and so forth.
All those crimes are going unpunished, and that's an engraved invitation for them to be committed again. "

In an appearance on CBS' "Face the Nation," the Iowa Republican admitted that the current legislation being considered by Congress didn't include the infamous death panel provision that would allow the government to determine who should live or die.

"I know the Pelosi bill doesn't intend to do that," said Grassley. "It won't do that," he added later.

Now that Grassley has fessed up to his error, will Sarah?

Upon realising he was wrong, Grassley admitted his error. Or perhaps it was because he knew he would looked pretty stupid if he stuck by that lie. Somehow I can't see Palin owning up to her mistake. Somehow it will be the fault of the MSM. "
