Julian says: True knowledge exists in knowing that we know nothing, not in pretending that we know everything. (I think there's supposed to be a long "mmmmmmmmmmmm" hummed after that very deep thought, and maybe another drag from the bong followed by an hour or so of meditation).
I'll be as brief as I can here. For starters, your wishy-washy feeling on abortion makes me sick. I wonder how Obama would feel today if his unwed mother had aborted him for the sake of convenience after papa deserted them ... whoops, what am I saying? For some reason, she didn't do that. Maybe she believed in God AND believed in His word as well.
On the stale old argument of "I support the troops, but I hope their mission fails". Well, enough said. But know this, Julian, a gray area is not how I would describe your ridiculous attempt to separate support of the troops from support of their mission. My son-in-law just left for Iraq. Don't even try to meet me in the middle of that discussion.
You say: In the end, we can always agree to disagree, respectively and politely. You've got to be kidding! Tell that to Daniel Pearl's family. No, better yet, tell that to the man who sawed off his head! "
