Consolidated employees celebrate milestone anniversaries



MATTOON — Several local Consolidated Communications employees celebrated milestone service anniversaries with the company in January.

Dave Coen — 40 years

Dave Coen of Neoga began his career on Jan. 6, 1969, as a Central Office Equipment Repairman. He has also worked as an Engineering Coordinator and Senior Engineer. He is currently an Engineer III.

Coen and his wife, Sheri, have two daughters: Sara and Cara.

Twilla Wilcoxen — 20 years

Twilla Wilcoxen was hired on Jan. 16, 1989, as a Part-Time Operator and has also worked as a Full-Time Operator and Operations Clerk. She is now an Operation Support Representative.

She and her husband, Joe, live in Humboldt, and have two children: son, Travis and daughter, Taryn.

Kathie Pearcy — 20 years

Kathie Pearcy started on Jan. 16, 1989, as a Part-Time Operator. She has also worked as a Full-Time Operator, Clerical Assistant, Customer Service Representative and Accounting Clerk. Pearcy is now an Accounting Specialist.

She and her husband, Don, live in Lerna. They have three children: Ed, Amy and Deanna; and nine grandchildren.

Karyn Stalets — 20 years

Karyn Stalets began her career on Jan. 30, 1989, as a Part-Time Operator. She has also worked as a Full-Time Operator, Temporary Service Assistant and Operations Clerk, and is now a Customer Service Representative.

Stalets and her companion, Danny Roseland, live in Coalton.

Lisa Buttry — 20 years

Lisa Buttry started as a Part-Time Operator on Jan. 3, 1989. She has also worked as a Full-Time Operator, Janitor, Support Clerk, Customer Service Representative, Results Analyst, Operations Supervisor II, CMR Operations Supervisor and Business Customer Care Specialist. She is currently a Staff Specialist III.

Buttry lives in Mattoon and has two children: Nathan and Hallie.

Beckie Eaton — 20 years

Beckie Eaton started on Jan. 30, 1989, as a Part-Time Operator. She has also worked as a Full-Time Operator and is now a Customer Agent.

She and her husband, Brandon, live in Cooks Mills and have three children: Bryce, Alex and Jamie.

Shelly Romack — 15 years

Shelly Romack was hired on Jan. 24, 1994, as a Directory Pagination Supervisor. She has also worked as a Customer Support Specialist, Customer Service Call Center Supervisor, Customer Care Center Supervisor and Senior Manager, ICTC Network Manager and Manager. She is currently a Senior Manager in Customer Service.

Romack and her husband, Matt, live in Neoga. They have three children: Tyler, Lauren and Luke.

Jill Callahan — 10 years

Jill Callahan started on Jan. 25, 1999, as an Associate Account Manager. She has also worked as an Account Manager, Product Analyst, Market Research Analyst I and II and is now a Product Manager.

Callahan lives in Lerna with her husband, Jason, and their two children: Emilie and Jacob.
