Oakley rings closing bell at Chicago Board Options Exchange



CHICAGO — Greg Oakley, financial adviser at First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust, rang the closing bell recently at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, according to a press release from First Mid.

Prior to joining the Trust and Wealth Management Division, Oakley was a trader and a broker who acted as agent for institutional clients on the trading floor of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. The CBOE was founded in 1973, and Oakley was a member on opening day. He has more than 30 years of experience in the securities industry and has served on various CBOE committees. Most notably, he worked on the Marketing Committee and the Membership Committee.

Oakley is a past member of the Minneapolis Grain Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade, CBOE, and Securities Traders Association of Chicago. He holds FINRA Registration licenses for Series 4, 7, 8 and 63. Currently, Oakley offers investment services through First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust’s partnership with the nation’s largest independent brokerage firm, Raymond James Financial Services, member FINRA/SIPC. His office is located in the new Consolidated Communications & Raymond James Financial Services building at 1321 Charleston Ave. in Mattoon.

First Mid provides comprehensive banking, trust and wealth management, and insurance services through its operating subsidiaries First Mid-Illinois Bank & Trust, N.A., and The Checkley Agency, Inc. It operates banking centers and ATMs in more than 20 communities in Illinois.
