Casey overpowers Chrisman, 64-45

CHRISMAN -- The Casey-Westfield Warriors crushed Chrisman 64-45 in a non-conference game on Friday.

It was the first win for the Warriors against the Cardinals since the 2003-04 season.

Casey’s Mitch Snyder led all players in scoring with 19 points.

Casey (3-1) is to face Rockville, Ind. at the Wabash Valley Pizza Hut Classic at Terre Haute South, Ind. at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Arthur beats Martinsville

ARTHUR – The Arthur Knights defeated the Martinsville Bluestreaks in boys’ basketball action Friday night, 74-32.

Leading the Knights were Bobby Aikman and Tim Wilson each with 17.

Martinsville is to play Dec. 27 against Windsor at 5:30 p.m. in the Tri-County tournament. Arthur is to play Dec. 27 at 7 p.m. against Hutsonville-Palestine also at the Tri-County tournament.

Stews-Stras Defeats Windsor

WINDSOR - Kyle Floyd scored 15 points but it was not enough as Windsor lost to Stewardson-Strasburg 69-41 in non-conference boys’ basketball action Friday night.

Jaden Widdersheim scored 23 points for the Comets.

Windsor is to play Martinsvile on December 17 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tri-County Holiday Tournament in Kansas.
