Local independent beauty consultant earns Mary Kay car

MATTOON — Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant Jane Raciti this month earned the use of a new Pontiac Vibe as a result of her outstanding achievement in operation her independent Mary Kay business, according to a press release from Mary Kay, Inc.

Raciti of Mattoon took delivery of the new vehicle, her fifth Mary Kay career car, at Rasmussen Chevrolet-Pontiac.

The Pontiac Vibe is offered in smoky platinum as one of the career cars, with others offered including the Saturn Vue AWD XE in black, Saturn Aura XE sedan in black and the exclusive pearlized pink Cadillac. Those who qualify for a Mary Kay career car also have the option of selecting cash in lieu of a vehicle.

“The Career Car Program provides the independent sales force the opportunity to earn the use of a visible symbol of their success,” said Gary Jinks, Mary Kay Inc. senior vice president of sales. “Each car obtained through this exciting program reflects the hard work, determination and professionalism of the independent sales force.”

Since the program’s inception in 1969, more than 120,000 independent sales force members have either qualified or re-qualified to ear the use of a Mary Kay career car. There are more than 6,000 Mary Kay career cars on the road nationwide.

Raciti can be reached by phone at 234-8999, by email at janeraciti@marykay.com or online at www.marykay.com/janeraciti.
