" We keep getting our taxes later and later, so they have the payments due in consecutive months. They should get them out earlier like they used to and have them payed as the used to. 1st
payment then skip a month and payment on the 3rd month. This way it puts and undue burden on those who have to prepare children for school. Also since the jobs around here are either non-existant
or low paying it would be a help also. "

" Jay, you CAN pay your taxes earlier through a program that Mr. Edwards started last year. Can't understand why someone would complain that they are not getting bills early enough, but you DO have options. You can even pay by credit card if there is a cash-flow problem. I only hope that the taxing bodies keep a lid on how much they ask for! "

" You know aprox. whhat your taxes are each year and that you pay them in Aug every year. So it's notl ike a surprise. Stick to a budget set it aside during the year. I have $270 each month automatically transfered from my checking to an escrow account I created. That way I never have to worry about it and it earns interest to where I only end up making 11 deposits. "

" Yeah Voltaire, and then you have to pay taxes on the interest that you accrued from your escrow account. Nifty aint it. Lets all vote Democrat, they care about us common folk. "

" Yes we do get them later every year and if you read about the local school having to borrow money because of it. If anyone can I hope they pay both installments at the same time. I have mine set up the same way as Voltaire and it works well. "
