CHARLESTON — The 2008 Little Miss Coles County pageant will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday in the grandstand at the Coles County Fairgrounds.

Ten girls ages 5 to 7 will compete for the title. The theme is “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend,” and the contestants will dance to the Marilyn Monroe version of that song.

This year’s contestants are Lilly Ashby, Haley Beals, Aaliyah Enloe, KayLee Fisher, Peyton Gill, MacKenzie Kirby, Taylor McClain, Haleigh Miller, Hannah Schrock and Elaina Short.

Dancers from Margene’s Dance Studio will provide entertainment while the girls have wardrobe changes.
