CHARLESTON – Soccer tryouts for the Charleston Football Club are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday at Sister City Park.
Girls ages 11 through high school are to try out at 5:15-6:15 p.m. Tuesday with boys and girls ages 7-11 set for 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The session for boys ages 11-14 is 5:15-6:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Registration fee is $10 and includes T-shirt and administrative costs.
The Charleston Football Club is the competitive level of soccer governed by the Charleston Soccer League and provides an alternative to the league’s fall recreational soccer program. Director of Coaching Dino Raso and technical advisor Adam Howarth are to evaluate and supervise the coaching and competitive structure each age bracket.
Carded club players members of fall 2008 CFC traveling team or other IYSA club team) are not allowed to play in the Charleston Soccer League Fall Recreational League. Players who are selected to play on a CFC team who have registered for recreational soccer are eligible for a refund of their recreational soccer fees.
