Charleston girls basketball camp June 2-5



CHARLESTON – Girls’ basketball camps directed by Charleston High School coach Jeff Miller are scheduled for Monday through Thursday at the school.

The Lady Trojan Basketball Camp for girls entering grades 5-8 is to run 9-11:30 a.m. each day and costs $40.

The camp is to teach fundamentals in both a traditional and competitive setting.

Lady Trojan Basketball 101, from noon to 2 p.m. with a cost of $35, is designed to instruct girls grades 1-4 on basic basketball fundamentals with campers to be grouped by age and skill level and receive individual instruction. The sport is to be introduced in a fun atmosphere to create an appreciation for the game.

Each of the two camp fees includes a T-shirt.

Checks should be made payable to the Trojan Booster Club and mailed along with a registration for to Lady Trojan Basketball Camp, Jeff Miller, 14157 E. County Road 600 N, Charleston, Ill., 61920.

I waive and relinquish all claims I or my child/ward may have against the Booster Club, C.U.S.D. #1, and its officers, agents, servants and employees as a result of participating in any of the above program(s). I hereby fully release and discharge the Charleston Booster Club, C.U.S.D. #1 and its officers, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims from injuries, damage or loss which I or my child/ward may have or which may accrue to me or my child/ward in any of the above program(s). I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend the Charleston Booster Club, C.U.S.D. #1 and its officers, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims resulting from injuries, damages and losses sustained by me or my child/ward, and arising out, connected with, or in any way associated with the activities of any of the program(s). I understand that unless specifically stated in writing at the time of registration photographs of participants may be taken. I have read and fully understand the above program details and waiver and release all claims.”
