Eastern sets 3 golf outings for June



CHARLESTON -- Registration is now under way for three Eastern Illinois Panther Club golf outings scheduled for the month of June.

All proceeds from Panther Club golf outings go to support student-athletes for Eastern Illinois 21 intercollegiate sports.

The three golf outings scheduled for June are the Bud Light Panther Open on June 2 at the Charleston Country Club, the women’s basketball golf outing on June 17 at Angus Links in Windsor and the Bill Glenn Open on June 26 at Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield.

Interested golfers can print off a registration form at www.EIUpanthers.com or contact 581-2310 to sign up.

The Bud Light Panther Open is scheduled for June 2 at the Charleston Country Club. Cost is $65 per person which includes lunch, dinner, a round of golf and tournament gift. A discount of $40 per golfer is available to Charleston Country Club members. A dinner only option is available for $15. Lunch is to be served at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The women’s basketball golf outing is set for June 17 at Angus Links in Windsor. Cost is $75 per person which includes lunch, dinner and a round of golf. A dinner-only option is available for $20. Lunch is to be served at noon with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

The Bill Glenn Open is scheduled for June 26 at Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield. Cost is $80 per golfer which includes lunch, dinner and a round of golf. A dinner only option is available for $25. Lunch is to be served at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
