Saturday's results, rescheduled dates



HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL 

Cumberland Invitational

Cumberland 11, Ramsey 0

Alison Kimble pitched a five-inning no-hitter and Macy Shupe went 3-for-3 with a triple and a double.

Cumberland 5, Mahomet-Seymour 2

Macy Shupe hit two doubles while Kimble pitched a five-hitter in the game that ended after five innings because of the tournament’s time-limit.

Cumberland 4, Teutopolis 0

Janele Robinson pitched a one-hit shutout and Sammy Carlen drove in two runs in going 1-for-1 in the five-inning game that decided the round-robin championship.

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

Casey-Westfield 11, Midland 1

Kirk Shawver and Austin Huckabee both went 3-for-4 with two RBIs in support of Taylor Biggs’ six-inning three-hitter.

Cumberland 18, Windsor 3

Jaton McMechan was 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs for the Pirates, who raised their record to 5-3.

First game

Neoga 6, Dieterich 0

Jared Massengill pitched a three-hitter and also hit a double

Second game

Dieterich 8, Neoga 3

Alex Walk was 2-for-3 for Neoga.

GIRLS' SOCCER

Olney 6, Charleston 1

Molly Ball scored Charleston's only goal

COLLEGE BASEBALL

First game

Eastern Illinois 4, Murray State 1

Josh Mueller struck out nine batters through six innings for the win.

Second game

Murray State 5, Eastern Illinois 3

Curt Restko and Jordan Tokarz had two hits each in Eastern’s loss.
