Associate pastor joins East Harrison Street Church of God



CHARLESTON — The congregation of East Harrison Street Church of God welcomes Marcus Roach as its associate pastor for youth and children’s ministries.

Roach earn a bachelor of science in religion degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va. and is pursuing a master of divinity through Liberty University Theological Seminary.

He has served as associate pastor at Victory Baptist Church, Buena Vista, Va. and was a youth counselor at Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg.

Roach and his wife, Donna, have two sons, Brent and Ezekiel.

Pastor Curt Weaver, senior pastor along with the new associate pastor, extend a welcome to the community to join in the fellowship of East Harrison Street Church.

Roach sends a special invitation encouraging the middle school and high school youth of the area to come and check out the new youth programs on Sundays at 6 to 8 p.m. and other activities being planned.
