Spring Sprint sponsored by SBLHC Occupational Therapy

MATTOON -- Sarah Bush Lincoln Occupational Therapy is to play host to Spring Sprint, a series of one-mile and 5K runs and walks throughout April in conjunction with National Occupational Therapy Month.

Spring Sprint also serves to help people prepare for Races for All Paces, a half-marathon, 10K relay challenge and 5K fun run and walk held on Saturday, May 10, on the Sarah Bush campus.

The sprints are to begin at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, April 3, 10, 17 and 24. The non-competitive runs begin and end on the west side of the campus and are open to participants of all ages. Families are encouraged to participate together. Casual walking and jogging clothes are the recommended attire.

There is no cost to participate and a drawing is to be held at the conclusion of the four week event for a gift certificate to an athletic store. No registration is required.

For more information contact Tasha Mauzy at 258-2530 or 348-2530 or email tmauzy@sblhs.org.
