EIU offering 'Romo for the holidays'

CHARLESTON -- Fans now have the chance to take home Tony Romo for the holidays as Eastern Illinois University athletics is offering EIU Tony Romo replica jerseys.

EIU is also selling replica Romo jersey T-Shirts.

The No. 17 EIU Romo jersey is free for individuals who join the EIU Panther Club as new members at a $200 Blue or greater level or to current Panther Club members who wish to increase their current giving level by $150 or more.

This offer is only good through Jan. 8, 2008, and all new memberships/upgrades are to be valid through March 2009.

Fans have a choice of replica jerseys in either blue or white with a size range of child to adult.

Romo replica jersey T-Shirts are available in youth and adult sizes for $20 per shirt plus $5 shipping and handling. The replica shirt has Romo’s No. 17 and his name on the back of the blue shirt.

Eastern Illinois athletics is the only place fans will be able to obtain an official No. 17 EIU Tony Romo jersey or replica T-shirt.

Jerseys and T-Shirts may be purchased in person at the Lantz Arena Athletic Office or over the phone at 581-2310.

Contributions to the EIU Panther Club are tax deductible and all proceeds are used to benefit the student-athletes of Eastern Illinois University’s 21 intercollegiate sports.
