Vendors sought for 2nd Kansas park MoshFest

KANSAS — MoshFest, a Kansas event sponsored by the band Thorn is seeking vendors for its second annual party in the Kansas Community Park

The event has grown to two days, June 8 and 9, and will feature 16 bands, one traveling from London, Ontario, Canada.

There is no charge to the public.

There are still vendor spots open according to Thorn member Delane Young. Interested persons may contact her at mosh.fest@yahoo.com.

No alcohol is allowed at the event, and all participating bands are required to have family appropriate acts.

A flea market will open at noon, with bands to start at 2 p.m. both days.

“Last year was a big success,” said Young. “Our goal has been to provide entertainment for the area youth without vulgarities, drugs, and alcohol.”
