Letter: Saddam mere overseer on plantation Iraq

Read about it “Jesus Christ sentenced to hang!” and he was. For what? Plotting against a western power (Rome) active in Palestine. For “whipping” Jewish capitalistic money changers in Jerusalem? Preaching revolution to whoever would listen? Calling for separatism and isolationism? Recommending quitting after one try at converting the “sinner?”
Articulating the end of the world as known at the time. Implying the trinity (dialectics). Preaching about the “camel” and the “needle.” In general, he had an anti-establishment attitude. That will always get you martyred -- rather quickly, and head of the “chosen” 144,000, in a hurry.
Read all about it “Saddam Hussein sentenced to Hang.” For what? Protecting his power against assassins. Preempting civil war in the nation of Iraq. Fighting over water rights (Iran), port (Kuwait), and colonial intrusion (United States and England); sounds like that pack of Pharisees back there in Jerusalem to me. Building temporal and anticipated palaces. Always planning ahead!
If by comparison, Saddam Hussein and human victims (murdered) by the pretense of one man will remain a piker compared to the followers of Jesus the Christ. Saddam had only 20 years of so to order the mayhem attributed to him, in a very small space!
Christian hegemony has take the last 2,000 years to wipe out millions of its victims in the name of God, the so-called righteous Christian soldiers have used every method conceivable to execute their will and God’s upon the “willing” and the “unwilling.”
Martin Luther’s reformation produced the most vicious example of Christian hegemony until it collided with the bourgeois revolution in A.D. 1792.
From that time until now, Luther’s survival tools (divide and rule) were co-opted by the international bourgeoisie and since amplified by such scum as King George II (himself a mass murderer).
Saddam Hussein was merely an overseer on the plantation of Iraq and will be sacrificed like any other straw boss who had outlived his usefulness; but his martyrdom can have profound consequences as did Christ’s.
